Burke McKee Spree was born and raised in Boligee, Alabama.  Kee attended the University of West Alabama, where he was a member of the baseball team and a recipient of an Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants Educational Foundation Scholarship.  In 2003, Kee graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.  Kee received a Master of Accountancy degree from The University of Alabama in 2005, and was a member of Beta Alpha Psi. 

Kee earned his Juris Doctorate from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2010.  A magna cum laude graduate of the law school, Kee received an academic scholarship and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence and Law Office Management. In 2011, Kee graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with an LLM in Taxation. 

Kee was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2010.  He practices in the areas of general civil litigation, tax, and estate planning.

Kee is married to the former Danielle Curtis, who is a nurse practitioner.  Kee’s interests include sports, grilling, and spending time outdoors.
