Albert G. Lewis III is a founding partner of our firm and chairman of the litigation section.  Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Al earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama in 1976 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1979. In 1985, Al went on to earn his LLM in Taxation in 1985 from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Al is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and American Bar Associates as well as the Alabama, and Mississippi trial lawyer associations.

With over twenty-five-years of extensive litigation and bankruptcy experience, Al has successfully represented both business and individuals in commercial transactions, consumer finance, insurance, class-actions, products liability, and bankruptcy matters.

Al is married to the former Linda King of Arab, Alabama, and they have two sons and one daughter.
